about us

"As a mum, fitness professional, and someone who has experienced my own challenges with injuries, hyper-mobility, neurodiversity and life in general, I know that fitness isn't always straight forward, it's complicated and has its many challenges, but it can be very rewarding when finding the approach that works for you. My goal is to help you find an approach that works for your body and your life, to make it a little easier"

About Bootiful Fitness

Kia Ora and welcome to Bootiful Fitness NZ I'm Kirsty, founder of Bootiful Fitness, and my mission is simple: to help everyday people move better, get stronger, and feel more confident in their bodies. Bootiful Fitness was created to provide a welcoming, judgement-free space where enjoying fitness is about so much more than weight loss or appearance. Its about laughter, friendships and getting stuck in together to generally feel better. Whether you're just starting your journey, returning after time away, managing pain or injuries, navigating parenthood, perimenopause or menopause, or simply wanting to feel stronger for everyday life, we're here to support you. In 2013, after 13 years working in the Navy (hence the swear like a sailor attitude), I changed careers, qualified and have been working as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. With over 12 years of experience in the fitness industry, I understand that every body is different, everyones needs are unique and that's why my approach focuses on a whole body approach, including addressing niggly area's, building strength, improving mobility or imbalances, increasing confidence, understanding the mind body connection and creating sustainable habits that fit into real life. Sometimes the label of Personal Trainer does not feel quite fit for me, as I do things a little bit differently, I feel like it does not encompass exactly what I do, and I am still looking for what I think is a better label. You won't find me yelling or screaming at people, just laughing with them and allowing them to love or hate my ideas, but my goal for them is always leaving feeling better than when they arrived. I continuely upskill every year and use my clients as motivation to always be learning new techniques or methods to help them. We offer a range of options to suit your lifestyle, including: Live online workouts and on-demand fitness classes Personal training Small group fitness Personalised Programming Health and wellness education At Bootiful Fitness, you'll find experienced trainers, with real life experience and an understanding that every body is different. No matter your age, fitness level, or experience, you're welcome here. We'd love to have you join our Bootiful Fitness family, whether thats in personal, online or a supporter in the back ground. • Kirsty’s knowledge and experience in women’s health is second to none. She is so much more than a trainer – she is an educator, motivator, and someone who genuinely cares about helping women achieve their goals in a way that is safe, sustainable, and tailored to them. programmes are evidence-based, personalised, and designed to build both confidence and strength. RACHAEL WRIGHT - Service Manager - park run enthusiast - Classes and Personal Training
  • I always get a good workout at Bootiful Fitness. Kirsty is easy-going and encourages you to push yourself without being overbearing. There are a good range of classes and a welcoming vibe. I sometimes struggle to fit strength training in around a busy life, but there's no pressure to attend every session and I keep going back!
KATE WILLIAMSON - Engineer - Loves a holiday - Classes
  • Absolute asset to the women of Rotorua! I came to Kirsty over a year ago needing support with building strength back up after birth injury - she explained the biology, gave me a break down of how the muscles, etc connect and created a slow plan to get me back to a good place. I now see her weekly 1:1 to support me with general lady-body maintenance, strength building, and some epic yarns. Kirsty is incredibly knowledgeable, she stays on top of current practice and research in women's health, educates her clients using simple, straight forward language and helps them learn what's actually applicable to their lives.
Chelsea Rowlands - Health Coach - Not as Broken - Personal Training
  • "Kirsty is great because she keeps it real. We go weekly and each session totally tailored to us as individuals. Sessions always full of laughs but challenging. Good times"
Keith and Wendy Lambert, Dairy Farmers - One loves it, one loves to hate it - Personal Training
  • "Bootiful Fitness has been a game-changer for me. Living rurally, I love being able to access a huge variety of workouts from my lounge whenever it suits me. Kirsty keeps (sh)it real, relatable, and motivating, and her knowledge - especially around women's fitness - is outstanding. Fantastic value and highly recommended."
